Cosmopolitan Ballet Theatre strives to give the dedicated dancer a complete education comprised of professional level dance training along with a well rounded exposure to global arts, cultures and languages.

Irina VakhromeevaIrina Vakhromeeva
Founder, Artistic Director, Choreographer, and Ballet Mistress

Ms. Vakhromeeva’s ballet career began in the world famous Vaganova Ballet Academy, where she received her MFA Master Degree of Ballet Artist. Currently she is a PhD candidate at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She toured throughout the world as a soloist and Principal dancer with the Moscow Ballet Company, Festival Ballet, International Ballet Company, Metropolitan Ballet.

Ms. Vakhromeeva danced principal roles in many ballets, including The Nutcracker, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, La Fille Mal Gardee, Don Quixote, Paquita, Italian Caprichio, Flame of Paris, The Swan Lake, Corsaire, Cinderella, The Snow Maiden, The Blue Bird, and many others.

As a Principal Guest Artist, Teacher and Choreographer, Ms.Vakhromeeva worked with Hamilton Ballet in Canada, International Ballet in Taiwan, Krassovska Ballet Jeuness, and Galveston Ballet where she staged La Bayadere, La Fille Mal Gardee, Napoli, Les Sylphides, Carmen, The Nutcracker, her own choreography, The Blue Bird, Solitude, Spring Verse, Glinka Waltze, and others.

Her knowledge of the most current teaching methods and styles has produced many young dancers who have been accepted into some of the world’s greatest schools, including Bolshoi Ballet Academy and Vaganova Ballet Academy, Julliard School and University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and to professional ballet companies.

Oleg Sihranov began his career in Sankt-Petersburg, Russia at the world famous Vaganova Ballet Academy ( Degree of Ballet Artist). Either as a Principal Dancer, Choreographer or Teacher he has performed, choreographed and taught internationally with the Grand Theater in Warsaw ( Polish), Ballet Theater Dortmund ( Germany), Moscow Classical Ballet (Russia), Estonian National Ballet.

Mr.Sihranov received superlative reviews in European Dance Magazine for the leading roles he danced and the Outstanding Choreography.

As a Principal Dancer Oleg performed all of the lead roles in full-length classical ballets, as well as contemporary works by such western choreographers as John Nuemeier and John Cranko.

His repertoire includes: Romeo and Juliet, choreography by Maurice Bejart, Don Quixote, La Fille Mal Gardee, Corsaire, The Nutcracker and others. He played a Principal role in the” Ballet Masters “movie. Mr. Sihranov was recognized as one of the Most influential People in the Arts.

Having recently retired from an active career as a dancer, Oleg is focusing on teaching and choreography. He began this experience in 2003 with the Cosmopolitan Ballet Theatre. Since that time, he has taught at numerous schools in Germany, Belgium, Taiwan, Italy and Russia.

As an accomplished dancer and experienced Ballet Master, Oleg would like to share his knowledge of pure classical style as well as a modern approach.
